Auda Pearl (Roush) Richardson was born to Rufus Elvin and Effie (Couch) Roush on August 11, 1921, in West Plains, Missouri. She departed this life on July 8, 2021, at the age of 99 years 10 months, and 28 days.

She was united in marriage on May 14, 1944, to Carl Louis Richardson, and to this union two sons were born, Roy Carl and Richard Elvin Richardson.

Auda is survived by one son, Roy Richardson of Cambodia; four grandchildren, Damon Richardson of St. Louis, MO, Chrystal Richardson-Viera and husband, Josh of San Diego, CA, Osage Soto and husband, Carlos of FL, and Malea Richardson of CA; five great-grandchildren, Chloe Richardson, Julian Richardson, Kira Soto, Alina Soto, and Noah Viera; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rufus and Effie Roush; husband, Carl; one son, Richard Elvin Richardson (who was killed in Vietnam October 6, 1966); two brothers, Virgil and Vernon Roush; four sisters, Sylvia Grant, Kathlyn Allen, Reva McArther, and Noma Derks.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri with Pastor Jeremiah Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
