Barbara June (Fuchs) Eaker was born on August 24, 1927, to Charles and Verna (Moss) Fuchs. She departed this life on November 29, 2021, at the age of 94.

Barbara met the love of her life Vincent "Vince" Eaker and were married on August 26, 1945. To this union, three children were born.

Barbara loved the Lord and Savior and attended and was a member of West Eminence Christian Church in Eminence until her health failed.

She loved her family with all her heart and always had a smile.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Vince; her parents; brothers, Charles Fuchs and Maurice Fuchs; and a sister, Betty (Fuchs) Hinds.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Eaker and wife, Debbie and Terry Eaker and wife, Donna; her daughter, Karen (Eaker) Moody and husband, Joe; six grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren – Melissa Swift and husband, Chuck, Terry Lynn Eaker, Candice Huett, and Jennifer McFerran and husband, Steve, Butch Ranklin and wife, Sharon, Max, Ava, and Madeline, Chris Ranklin and wife, Helene, Topher and Maria, Sydney Williams, Katie McFerran, Jacob McFerran and Riley Huett; brother, Stan Fuchs and wife, Patricia; sister, Verna Jean Dulaney; and several nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.

She will forever be in our hearts.

There will be a celebration of her life at a later date.
