Obituary

Betty Lou Bryan was born August 19, 1932, in Nagle, Missouri, to Carrol Emery and Bertha (Fulk) Peabody. She departed this life on October 19, 2024, at Willow Healthcare in Willow Springs, Missouri, at the age of 92.

Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, Loye; her parents, Carroll and Bertha; sister, Faye Smith; and brothers, Lee Brook and Gene Fulk.

Survivors include her sons, Michael (Kay) Bryan, Steven (Debbie) Bryan, John ( Amber) Bryan, and Wayne (Debbie) Smith all of Willow Springs, MO; daughters, Ann (Buck) Denton of Willow Springs, MO, Tina (Mitch) Smith of Vanzant, MO, and Deborah Page of Springfield, MO; brother, Dean (Ruth) Peabody of Parma, ID; sister, Freda Bowman of Parma, ID; 21 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Betty was a member of the Eastern Star. She was a quilter and loved flowers. She loved children. She babysat many of the kids in Willow Springs. She especially loved her grandkids. She enjoyed horseback riding and showed horses in her younger days. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Epps Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastor David Lovan officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24 from 6-8:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary in Willow Springs, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
