Dr. Billy Eugene Dunlap, aged 88, passed from this life on June 3, 2024. He was born on October 21, 1935 in Mississippi.

Billy married Barbara Jean Fisher on August 8, 1964, in Heber Springs, AR. In their many years of marriage, they were blessed with 5 children.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise (Wiggins) Dunlap; his wife of 49 years, Barbara Jean; and one daughter, Shawna Dunlap.
He is survived by his sons, Eric Dunlap, Heber Springs, AR; Jason Dunlap, Summerville, SC; and Aaron Jacob Dunlap, Summersville, MO; and daughter Ashton MacKenzie Burleson; son-in-Law Jacob Burleson; and grandsons, Alan, William and Wyatt Burleson, of Bennetsville, SC.

Billy joined ROTC at a young age, then joined the Air Force before attending college and beginning his lifelong career in Dentistry.  He loved fishing and spending his free time outdoors and with family. He was loved by friends, family, co-workers, and colleagues and will be missed by many.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Cleburne County Memorial Gardens, Heber Springs, Missouri, with Grant Vannatter officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
