Brenda Kay Chaney, age 65, passed away peacefully at her home in Birch Tree, Missouri, surrounded by loved ones on April 12, 2022.  She was born to David Paul and Ellen June (Voyles) Fisher on April 12, 1957, in Winona, Missouri.  Brenda was united in marriage to Danny Edward Chaney on May 7, 1976, and to this union two children were born, Brian and Sarah.

Brenda is preceded in death by her husband, Danny Chaney; her parents, David Paul and Ellen Fisher; and her grandparents, William and Minerva Fisher, and Marion and Rhoda Voyles.

Survivors include her children, Brian Chaney and wife, Marian, and Sarah Chaney all of  Birch Tree, MO; two brothers, Gary Fisher and wife, Kerry, and Bill Fisher and wife, Angie all of Winona, MO; one sister, Linda Youngblood and husband, Hank of Winona, MO; five grandchildren, Bethanie Chaney, Kristen Mudge, Seanna Wilson, Ronnie Wilson, and Taylor Thomason; and five great-grandchildren, Brylee, Everlee, Daemon, Stella and Oliver.

Brenda was a faithful member of Montier Church of God. She looked forward to fellowship and worship time spent with her church family.  Brenda also enjoyed going to yard sales, cooking, and baking, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.  Brenda was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Pastor Vic Elliott officiating. Visitation be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service, also at the funeral home.
