Brenda Sue Gadberry was born on March 12, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Ernest A. and Shirley A. (Clark) Johnston. She went to her heavenly home on October 27, 2021, at Georgian Gardens Nursing Center, Potosi, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Johnston and Shirley Teague; step-father, John Teague; two brothers, Robert and George Teague; one sister, Trish Hardwick; and special friend, Paul Yarbrough.

Brenda is survived by one brother, Johnny Teague, and many nieces and nephews.

She loved going to church at First Assembly of God in Eminence and Eminence First Baptist Church and singing.  She also loved jewelry, Angels, spending time with family and friends, and was very social and never met a stranger.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Pastor Darrell Jones officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri.
