Ernest Eugene Yearwood was born the son of Ernest Franklin and Barbara Ann (Grandstaff) Yearwood on August 24, 1956, in Alton, Missouri. He passed away on April 22, 2022, at his home in Birch Tree, Missouri, with his family by his side.

Bud was united in marriage on February 28, 1980, in Birch Tree, Missouri, to the love of his life, Joyce Elaine Friend. To this union, they had two children, Chad and Kim.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Barbara Yearwood, and one brother, Steve Yearwood.

Bud is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Joyce Yearwood of the home; one son, Chad Yearwood and wife, Sheila of Summersville, MO; one daughter, Kim Renegar and husband, Damon of Birch Tree, MO; one sister, Melody Goode and husband, Jerry of Winona, MO; and five grandchildren, Gavin, Aimee, Ethan, Kenna, and Rylee.

He was a cowboy at heart and loved his horses. He also loved hunting and aggravating his grandchildren, who he loved dearly.

Bud will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Greg Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, 2022, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri.
