Obituary

Buddy Paul Howard was born to James Weston Howard and Ollie Bell (Weaver) Howard on September 17, 1955, in Kansas City, Missouri, and departed this life on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Brookehaven Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri, at the age of 66 years.

He was united in marriage to Wanda Rue Mullaney, and to this union, three children were born, Jeffery, Tina, and Matthew.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ollie Howard, and one grandchild, Brooklyn Leann Howard.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Howard of the family home; three children, Jeffery Paul Howard (Jodi) of Green Cove Springs, FL, Tina Louise Feller (Ronnie) of Flemington, MO, and Matthew Mark Howard (Ashley) of West Plains, MO; one brother, Stanley James Howard of Mountain View, MO; two sisters, Becky Ellazada (Howard) Ferguson (Mark) of Hernando, MS, and LaVita Ann (Howard) Deming of Johns Island, SC; fifteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Buddy graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1973. He worked for many years at Waggoner Lumber Company as a yardman/delivery driver. He was a faithful member of the Hilltop Holiness Church, Willow Springs, Missouri. Buddy enjoyed sports, and he loved playing football and baseball in the front yard with his children and grandchildren or a relaxing afternoon inside watching it on T.V.

Mostly, he loved spending as much time as he could with his family. Buddy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Family guided memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Hilltop Holiness Church, Willow Springs, Missouri. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com .
