Cecil Junior Ward was born on March 28, 1947, in Alley Spring, Missouri to Elmer E. and Betty M. (Crosson) Ward. He departed this life on May 11, 2021, at the age of 74.

He is survived by his sister, Lillie Plowman of Eminence, MO; and many friends.

Cecil is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer E. and Betty M. Ward; two brothers, Denver Ward and Carl Ward; and two nephews, Gilbert and Steven Ward.

He loved to cut firewood and sell it to campers. Cecil also enjoyed digging ginseng and other roots. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
