Obituary

Clarence "Junior" Raymond Presser, 87, of Willow Springs, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains, Missouri. He was born on July 16, 1939, in Texas County, to Clarence and Tillie (New) Presser.

Junior married Treva Nadine Elam on January 16, 1959, in Willow Springs. He worked at Pepsi in Willow Springs for more than 25 years. He also owned and operated Presser Auto Sales in Willow Springs, served as an assistant manager at Smith Gas & Appliance in Mountain View, and worked as a bus driver and custodian for the Willow Springs School District.

Junior was an avid crappie fisherman and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, playing games and making memories together. He was a member and deacon of Calvary General Baptist Church in West Plains.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Nadine, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

He is survived by his dear companion, Karolyn Due of Willow Springs, MO; his children, Ricky Presser and wife Sharon of Willow Springs, MO, and Brenda Freeman and husband Lee of West Plains, MO; his grandchildren, Eric Presser and wife Katie, Missy Leighty and husband Ethan, Matt Presser and wife Sarah, and Ashley Freeman, all of Willow Springs, MO, and Greg Freeman and wife Kearsten of Batesville, AR; and his great-grandchildren, Logan, Lily, Caledonia, and Gideon Presser, all of Willow Springs, MO.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs, Missouri, with Pastor Justin Duddridge officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 6-8:00 pm also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Willow Springs City Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri.
