Clinton E. Sanders was born on April 18, 1941, to Walter and Gladys (Younger) Sanders. He departed this life on February 19, 2024, at the age of 82 years. Clinton was a member of the Family Worship Center. He married Lois Preston on November 22, 1978.

Clinton is preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 43 years, Lois, two brothers, and three sisters.

He is survived by one brother, Denny Sanders and wife, Judy of Jonesburg, MO; Irene Martin and husband, Gene of Birch Tree, MO; Myrtle Day of Norwood, MO; John Brawley of Licking, MO; Mary Smotherman and husband, Bob of Birch Tree, MO; daughters; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Clinton enjoyed horseback riding, coon hunting, spending time with friends at McDonald's, and sharing lots of laughs and stories. He also enjoyed singing and playing his guitar. Clinton will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor George Smith officiating, also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Birch Tree, Missouri.
