Dennis Wayne VanWinkle, a beloved resident of Winona, Missouri, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2024, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born on November 16, 1955, in Winona, Missouri, Dennis dedicated his life to his family, friends, and his passions.

A skilled Commercial Truck Driver and Sawyer, Dennis found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed spending time with loved ones, cherishing his furry companions, and enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

He will be deeply missed by his daughters, Rhiannon Comer and husband Shane Comer of Newport, AR, and Miranda Burgess and husband Jeremy Burgess of Dalton, AR; one son, Dennis Voyles of Birch Tree, MO. Dennis will also be missed by his grandkids, Keaton Mensendick, and Landon Comer of Newport, AR, and Wesley Decker, Luke Burgess, and Allison Burgess of Dalton, AR.

Dennis was predeceased by his wife, Avanell VanWinkle.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri, with Bro. Darrell Derryberry officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Forest Cemetery in Birch Tree, Missouri.
