Dixie Elizebeth Bales, daughter of Elizebeth Mitchell and Joshua Bales of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away on September 12, 2025, in West Plains, Missouri.

She is survived by her parents, Elizebeth Mitchell and Joshua Bales; grandparents, Rebecca Mitchell of Mountain View, MO, Jackie Bales of Granite City, IL, and Robert Mitchell of Mountain View; aunts and uncles, Steven (Taylor) Mitchell of Mountain View, Andre (Marie) Bales of Sullivan, MO, Micheal (Destiny) Bales of Sullivan, Richard Bales of Sullivan, Kevin Bales of Granite City, IL, and Lillyan Bales of Granite City; a bunch of great aunts and uncles, several great-grandparents on her dads side of the family; and numerous cousins.

Dixie is preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, Mary Mitchell, Elliot Ward, Robert Mitchell Sr., and Peggy Teney; and paternal great-great-grandparents, Richard Kitson Sr., and Melvin Schuler.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri, with Bro. Dale Wallander officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Condolences can be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
