Dixie Carolyn Nichols, 86, formally of Winona, Missouri, departed this life on February 23,2026, in Washington, Missouri. She was born on August 27, 1939, in Winona, the daughter of Jack and Geneva (VanWinkle) Myers.

On June 17, 1961, Dixie was united in marriage with Granville Newton Nichols at the Assembly of God Church in Winona, forming a bond that exemplified love and devotion. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Granville, as well as her parents, Jack and Geneva.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri, with Pastor Troy McAfee officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
