Donna Medley Triplett, aged 89, passed away on February 27, 2026. She was born on February 5, 1937, in Willow Springs, Missouri, to Harley and Alice (Stephenson) Medley.
Donna graduated from Willow Springs High School in 1955 and married Wesley Triplett on June 26, 1955, at the First Baptist Church in Willow Springs. Together, they raised four children: Barbara Sweet (Rick), Jon Triplett (Susie), Jay Triplett (Laura), and Julie Murphy. Her family was the core of her being, and she embraced her roles as Mom, Nannie, Granny Donna, and Nano with unwavering love and dedication.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley Triplett; her parents, Harley and Alice Medley; her brothers, Leroy and Gene; and her son-in-law, Dan Murphy.
Donna is survived by her children; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; and countless friends who will miss her dearly.
Throughout her professional life, Donna made significant contributions as a secretary at Duncan Funeral Homes, Mountain View Public Schools, and Yarber Mortuary. She was fondly known as the "Tupperware Lady," excelling in her sales and earning numerous awards. Additionally, she represented the Longaberger Company with pride.
A dedicated member of the Fidelis Club, Order of the Eastern Star, and Mercy Volunteers, Donna generously offered her time and talents to numerous causes and organizations, leaving a lasting impact on those she served. She was previously a member of the First Baptist Church of Mountain View, Missouri, and the United Methodist Church of Mountain View.
Donna was known for being incredibly generous and thoughtful. She took special joy in curating meaningful gatherings in her home-cooking beloved family recipes and playing her favorite card and board games with the people she loved.
May Donna rest in peace, knowing precious memories will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her. The family wishes to thank the administration and staff of the Neighborhoods at Quail Creek for their wonderful, loving care and compassion.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Memorial donations can be made in Donna's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjudes.org or to Mercy Volunteers at www.mercyvolunteers.org. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
