Earl Edwin "Eddie" Schulz, age 77, passed away on December 12, 2023, at his home in Mountain View, Missouri. He was born on June 4, 1946, in Calico Rock, Arkansas, to George and Cleffie (Moody) Schulz. He married Carolyn Ann (Ellett) Young on January 19, 1967, and to this union, three children were born.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Cleffie Schulz; three brothers, Leamon, Tommy, and Johnny Schulz; two brothers-in-law, Mert McDanel and Bob Conner; three sisters-in-law, Effie Schulz, Lisa Schulz, and Sherry Schulz; one son, Bryan Schulz; and Tooter.

Eddie is survived by his children, Tammy Self (husband Casey) and Leman Schulz (wife Jennifer); eleven siblings, Norma McDaniel, Wayne Schulz, Wanda Conner, Ray Schulz (wife Betty), Ken Schulz, Jim Schulz, Lois Mattison (husband Steve), Sharon Collins (husband Lenny), Peggy Preu (husband Larry), Bobby Schulz, and Denny Schulz; seven granddaughters, Leigh Ann, Brooklyn, Marion, Katie, Jacqui, Brittney, and Bre; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Although a very private man, Eddie loved the outdoors, especially hunting, gardening, planting flowers, and yard work. He knew the value of hard work, a good time, and a good story.

At his request, no services are planned. However, a celebration of life with family, friends, and those who knew him will be Saturday, January 6, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Mountain View Senior Center.
