Eva Jean Honeycutt, age 80, passed away on December 17, 2024, in West Plains, Missouri. She was born on December 25, 1943, to Corba Skaggs and Hazel Alberta (Holloway) Counts in Winona, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Geneva Bowen and Millie Osburn; and brothers, Bill Counts and Jesse Counts.

Survivors include Charley Honeycutt of Eminence, MO; sons, Leroy Dixon and wife, Kathy of Bixby, MO and Robbie Dixon and wife, Pam of Winona, MO; daughter, Lesia Lilly and husband, Dean of Winona, MO; sister, Lillie Bland and husband, Donald; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.

Eva loved to be outside fishing and hunting, but her greatest love was her kids and grandkids. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her. Will be missed by my very best friend. Love you Charley.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Church of God of Prophecy, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Bro. Darrell Jones officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the church.
