George Dewey
Frank
May 8, 1961 — Dec 21, 2024
G eorge Dewey Frank, III was born on May 8, 1961, to Gloria (Lambertus) Frank and George Frank, II, in Iola, Kansas. He passed away on December 21, 2024, at the age of 63 years, 7 months, and 13 days at Mercy St. Francis Hospital, Mountain View, Missouri.
He was married to Johnna Dale on October 10, 2000. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Mountain View, where his father was the pastor at one time.
After high school, George went to college, then went to work at Sequel in Willow Springs, Missouri for several years. He later went back to college at SBU in Mountain View, and graduated in 2008 with his Bachelor's degree. He then worked as a paraprofessional, and he loved the kids and working with them.
George lived at Mountain View Healthcare after he was no longer able to live at home. He never complained about anything, and was an easy going, caring, loving, and kind person. He had the prettiest smile that everyone loved and remarked about. He was a people person that could talk to anyone and had lots of friends.
George loved football and his favorite teams were Alabama Crimson Tide and Dallas Cowboys. At one time he had a basset hound and his name was Dallas. He also loved anything that had to do with history.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria; father, George; maternal grandparents; and paternal grandparents, Jim and Lois Taylor.
George is survived by his wife, Johnna; sister, Laura Harper and husband, Bob; brother-in-law, Johnny Dale and significant other, Malisha Menefee; son, Josh Frank; daughter, Danielle Whisenhunt and husband, Glen; mother-in-law, Beverly Dale; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
We will miss George deeply but know he is no longer in pain and suffering anymore.
