She married Joe E. Abbey on September 15, 1956, in Enid, Oklahoma, and to this union, five children were born, David, Linda, Lora, Denise, and Larry.

LaRee is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Abbey; son, Larry Dean Abbey; grandson, Matthew Farris; and five sisters, Darlene, Carolyn, Joan, Ellen, and Connie.

Survivors include her children, David (Cheryl) Abbey of Willow Springs, MO, Linda (Carlos) Casahuaman of West Plains, MO, Lora (Danny Carr) Abbey of Branson, MO, and Denise Abbey Butler of Willow Springs, MO; grandchildren, Aaron Farris, Bryan Casahuaman, Mikel Casahuaman, and John Tyler (Kayla) Butler; 10 great-grandchildren, Todd Casahuaman, Tristan, Leighkyn, Alaina, Abbey, and Madalyn Farris, Victoria Navarro- Hanna, Kendrix Coolbaugh, and Jackson and Emmitt Butler.

LaRee attended Little Zion Church in Trask, Missouri. She enjoyed making caramel popcorn and jellies for church fundraising. She especially enjoyed deer hunting and was an avid bowler of two leagues. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden and pool. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. She was a devoted Christian, who always went above and beyond, especially for her family and friends.

LaRee never knew a stranger and although she is no longer with us physically, her spirit will forever remain a beacon of love and inspiration. She will be deeply missed and may her loved ones find comfort in the cherished memories they hold dear.
