Gracie Dale Gilbert was born April 26, 1940, in Fredrick, Oklahoma, to Claude and Daisy (McCanless) Beal. She passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 83. She was one of eight children.

She is survived by her husband, James Barnum; three children, Deborah Moore and husband Dave, Denise Carlson and husband Bobby, and Darin Scheer and wife Sheri; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Grace loved her family and friends unconditionally. She enjoyed being outdoors, golfing, and volunteering. Once a week both Jim and Gracie would deliver meals to those who were home-bound.

Family-guided graveside services will be held on July 20, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View, Missouri, with Diane Cooke officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
