Iva Jean (Burnham) Burrus was born to Charles Golden and Sara Joan (Key) Burnham on March 26, 1952, in Carter County, Missouri. She passed away on April 22, 2021, at the age of 69.

Jean was united in marriage to Kenneth Lane Burrus on June 19, 1970, and to this union, one daughter, Christina Elane Shepherd, and one son, Jason Lane Burrus was born.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Golden and Sara Joan (Key) Burnham.

Jean is survived by her husband of fifty years, Kenny; daughter, Christy Shepherd of Eminence, MO; grandson, Dylan Lane Shepherd and wife Whitney (Ritter) Shepherd of Eminence, MO; son, Jason, and wife Nancy (Piatt) Burrus; grandchildren, Rebecca Jo and Levi Lane Burrus of Eminence, MO; brothers, Larry Burnham and wife Darlene of Eminence, MO, Joey Burnham and wife Michelle of Springfield, MO; one sister, Joan (Burnham) Vaughn and husband Bill of Hanna, WY; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Jean was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved sharing all her recipes with everyone that came in or around "her kitchen." She was one never to stay put because she loved to travel, and stick at least one toe into the ocean. Jean loved playing cards and games with the family. She was baptized at the West Eminence Christian Church.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
