Jack Wayne Thomas was born on June 20, 1926, in Mountain View, Missouri, to Ambrose and Dovie (Spiva) Thomas. He passed away on October 29, 2021, at Mountain View Healthcare.

He was united in marriage on October 5, 1945, in Arkansas to Wilma Jean Holden. To this union four children were born, Shirley, Linda, Donald, and Jane.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose and Dovie Thomas; one son, Donald Wayne Thomas; one daughter, Jane Ann Thomas; and many siblings.

He is survived by his wife of 76 years, Wilma Thomas; two daughters, Shirley Petersen and husband, Gary of NC, Linda Farrow and husband, Alan of OH; three grandchildren, Scott Petersen of NC, Jennifer Wilson of OH, Jeff Farrow and wife, Erin of UT; and six great-grandchildren, Madison and Kennedy Petersen of NC, Megan and Kelsey Wilson of UT, and Max and Cash Farrow of UT.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Old City Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com
