Obituary

Jackie Lee Woodring was born January 31, 1936, in Bardley, Missouri, the son of Raymond Lee and Jewell Viola (Rackley) Woodring. They moved to Sullivan, Missouri, where Jack attended school until the family moved to Willow Springs, where he finished his schooling.

Jack proudly served his country as a member of the Army during the Korean conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1965.

He married his loving wife, Glenda Klofkorn, on December 21, 1962, and they spent the next 63 years loving each other, while fishing every lake and river in the area. In later years, they enjoyed the Casinos in Tunica, Vegas, and Downstream, where Jack visited, and Glenda brought home the money.

Glenda said Jack was known as a "working man," spending many years working at Bacon's Tire Shop, and then in Construction.

He was saved and baptized at a young age in Bardley, Missouri. He attended Trinity Baptist Church, Willow Springs.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, one sister, Lillie Roderick, and two brothers, Carl and Bob. He is survived by his wife, Glenda, of the home.
