James Robert Shaver was born to Robert and Margaret (Godbey) Shaver on December 25, 1955. He passed away on November 26, 2022, at Mountain View Healthcare, Mountain View, Missouri, at age 66.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Margaret; niece, Kerri Renegar; nephew, Robert Schweitzer; and brothers-in-law, Robert M. Schweitzer and Donald Worley.

Survivors include three sisters, Judy Schweitzer, Jean Worley, and Mary Renegar, and one brother-in-law, Earl Renegar.

James graduated from West Plains High School.  He worked in the timber industry as a machinist and carpenter. He enjoyed watching Nascar, fishing, and arrowhead hunting. James loved spending time with his cats and dogs.
