Janene Lynette Timms, 56, Bonne Terre, Missouri, went to be with Jesus on August 13, 2021, at 3:59 p.m., surrounded by her loving family.  She was born January 12, 1965, in Saint Louis, Missouri, the daughter of Kenneth West and Virginia (Vermillion) Morris.

She is survived by her loving husband, Lonnie L. Timms Jr; children, Jenna Dennison, Lindsey Timms (Jerry Foney), Lonnie "Bub" Timms (Brittany Timms), and Kaylee Timms (Jacoby Holter); her "best", Jaylen Foney; and her special puppy dogs, Dixie, Otis, and Vivi.  Also surviving, her mother, Virginia Morris and step-father, Bert Morris; sister, Lisa Gazaway (Terry); brother, Richard Vermillion and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Janene is preceded in death by her father, Kenny West; brother, Timothy West; father-in-law, Lonnie Timms, Sr.; and a host of grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will miss her compassion, love, and understanding heart and her ability to walk into the room and not know a stranger.  They will also miss the way she could dance to any song that would come on the radio and the way she stepped into her role as a "Mama" and loved Jaylen unconditionally.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri with Bro. Paul Keith and Sis. Charlotte Keith officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 6-8:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery, Winona, Missouri.
