Janet Marzella (Rockwell) Hughes was born in Fort Worth, Texas on November 28, 1943, to Carl and Mildred (Prindle) Hamm. She passed away at her home in Mountain View, Missouri, on December 13, 2022, at the age of 79 years.

Janet is preceded in death by her husband, Rocky Rockwell; son, Darrell; brother, Richard Allen; brother-in-law, Virgil; and her parents, Carl and Mildred.

Survivors include her children, Craig Stephenson, Jill Rockwell and husband, Kevin, Dina Rockwell, and Danielle Scheuerman; siblings, Marky Pennington and Sue Walker and husband, Howard; grandchildren, Micheal Allen Stephenson, Adam Hawkins, James Stephenson, Terra Kincade and husband, Cody, Taigen Brown, Madelenn Winten, Desiree Corley, Haylee Corley, and Barbara Scheuerman; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Briar, Molly, and Vaida Marzella.

Janet graduated from high school. She worked as a payroll clerk at Mountain View Fabricating. In her early years, Janet loved to go horseback riding, and as she got older she enjoyed gardening and worshiping Jesus. She volunteered at Munch in Willow Springs, as often as she could. Janet all around enjoyed her grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Jan Thomlinson officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Montier Cemetery, Montier, Missouri.
