Jesse Raymond Austin was born on August 26, 1947, in West Covina, California, to Jesse R. and Gladys (Brewer) Austin. He departed this life on April 12, 2024, in Mountain View, Missouri, at the age of 76.

Jesse was united in marriage to Lynne Marie Oliver on January 25, 1970. To this union, one daughter, Shannon, was born. He served in the United States Army for 20 years and worked as a mechanic at Mountain View Fab and Jasper Engines.

He is preceded in death by his brother, James Austin, and sister Patricia Waterhouse.

Survivors include his wife Lynne of the home; daughter, Shannon Sanchez; sisters, Betty McDaniel and Sherry Amelung; brother, Richard Austin; one granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.

Jesse loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He was loved dearly by many family and friends and will be missed.
