Joshua Lee Kaut, 39, Buffalo, Missouri, was born on October 5, 1981, in Mountain View, Missouri, the son of Jackie Lee Kaut and Cynthia (Smith) Griffin. He passed away on September 1, 2021, at his home in Buffalo.

He is survived by his parents, Jackie Kaut of Mountain View and Cynthia Griffin of Buffalo; one sister, Amber (Smith) Hatfield and husband, Billy of Crestview, FL; one brother, Charles Tyler Kaut and wife, Kalla of Birch Tree, MO; three nephews, Billy Ira Andrew Hatfield, Payton Garret Hatfield, and Wiley Drü Kaut; and three nieces, Bryla Grace Simpson, Qwinlee Emberlyn Kaut, and Kelanie Ivy-Dale Kaut.

Joshua is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Richard and Eleanor Smith; paternal grandparents, Calvin and Verna Kaut; two uncles, Melvin and Junior Kaut; and two aunts, Elaine and Gail Smith.

Joshua was a laborer. He worked hard in various occupations, including logging, sawmill, pallet industry, and construction.

He loved his momma more than anything, with pie being his second love.
