Joy Beth Tranbarger McClure was born March 13, 1957, in Flint, Michigan, to Lilburn Ray and Joyce Mayree (Decker) Tranbarger. She departed this life on September 25, 2023, at her home in Birch Tree, Missouri.

Joy is preceded in death by her parents, Lilburn and Joyce.

She leaves to mourn her husband, Jack Houston McClure, of the home; stepson, Dalton McClure (Destiny) of Winona, MO; step-grandchildren, Jackston, Clifton, Ivyona, and Daisey; and many uncles and cousins.

Joy obtained her Masters's Degree in education and took pride in teaching and taking care of her elementary kids. She enjoyed her home and liked watching animals.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Brian Ingalls officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Mountain View.
