Judith Ann Derryberry, age 74, passed away on April 12, 2022, at her home in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born to Clyde Ray and Wilma (Dow) Jacobs on October 7, 1947, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Judith married Everett Dean Derryberry, and they had two children, Sonya and Jason.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Wilma Jacobs.

Judy is survived by her husband, Everett Derryberry of the home; two children, Sonya Derryberry of Kansas City, MO, and Jason Derryberry and wife, Samantha of Springfield, MO; one brother, Rudy Jacobs and wife, Fae of Smithville, MO; two grandchildren, Collin and Emily Derryberry of Springfield, MO; and various nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was a librarian for Mid Continent Library for twenty years. She held various positions at Church of God of Prophecy in Kansas City, Missouri. She enjoyed reading and crocheting, and she loved spending money on her grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Hope Thru Grace Fellowship, Kansas City, Missouri, with Charles Winchester and George Nagel officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6-7:00 p.m., also at the church. Inurnment will be at Montier Cemetery, Montier, Missouri, at a later date.
