Karen Jane (Titus) Counts was born on September 15, 1956, to Philip and Ester (Tritch) Titus in St. Louis, Missouri, and departed this life on April 15, 2022, at the age of 66. She was united in marriage to Ron Counts on May 20, 1989.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Philip and Ester Titus; one sister, Janet; and in-laws, Charles and Nadine Counts.

Survivors include her loving husband of 32 years, Ron Counts; four brothers, Russ (Janice) Titus of Loose Creek, MO, Charlie Titus of Birch Tree, MO, Philip Titus of Eminence, MO, Kenny (Marie) Titus of West Plains, MO; four sisters-in-law, Elane (Gary) Toombs, Judy (Jim) Hanes, Charlene Adier, and Tracy (Lonnie) Reece; one brother-in-law, Lonnie (Marilyn) Counts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Karen was a beautician in Eminence, Missouri, for 42 years. She was always looking for a new adventure and enjoyed camping, floating, and swimming. If it had to do with the river, she loved it. She loved the Lord first, and then her husband, family, and friends. Karen was a joy to be around and was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on April 19, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Eminence, Missouri. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00-2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.
