Laura Lou Lamborn, age 79, passed away on November 1, 2025, at Mercy St. Francis Hospital, Mountain View, Missouri. She was born on April 1, 1946, in Walkerville, Illinois, to Lorenzo Leroy and Laura (Rabe) Ward. Laura married Leslie Lamborn, Sr., in Fidelity, Illinois, and to this union, four children were born.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Laura Ward, and her siblings Elliot Ward, Dallas Ward, Danna Buchanon, Carole Hopper, and Hellen Dykeman.

Survivors include her husband, Leslie Lamborn, Sr.; her son, Leslie Lamborn, Jr.; her daughters, Sandra Ward, Emma Lamborn, and Diana Blackburn; and her brothers, Royal Ward and Nelson Ward.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Antioch Cemetery, Hartshorn, Missouri, with Bro. Dale Wallander officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
