Lois Jean King, age 81, passed away on April 7, 2022, at Ozarks Healthcare, West Plains, Missouri. She was born to Estel and Margaret (Watson) Cox on January 25, 1941, in Sharpsville, Indiana.

She was united in marriage to Grafton Daniel King on July 7, 1962, in Searcy, Arkansas. To this union, three children were born, Debbie, David, and Brian.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Grafton King, and her parents, Estel Cox and Margaret Cardwell.

Survivors include her three children, Debbie Jeffries, David King and wife, Kelly, and Brian King; one sister, Sue Bontrager and husband, Tim; five grandchildren, Alan Ward, Ashley Evans, Zeppling King, Tabitha King, and Nicklous Phillips; and five great-grandchildren, Rebbeca Ward, Tabitha Ward, Alan Ward, Jr., Aubrey King, and Zaylin King.

Lois was a wonderful woman who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing bingo and making desserts.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Eric Tripp officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, from 6-8:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
