Lois Eileen
Sanders
Sep 26, 1932 — Jul 1, 2022
Lois Eileen Sanders was born on September 26, 1932, in Cabool, Missouri, to Alvin Preston and Sevilla (Bley) Beddoe and passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2022, in Mountain View, Missouri, at the age of 89.
Lois was baptized in the name of the Son and the Father and the Holy Spirit into their church. She married Clinton Sanders on November 22, 1978. Lois was a member of the Eastern Star for many years. She worked with the public most of her life as a store owner and manager and made lifelong friends within the community. She absolutely loved to fish and enjoyed watching the hummingbirds at her feeders. Lois loved to talk and made trips to the grocery store just to visit sometimes. She found her adult coloring books to be relaxing and soothing and was proud of the many books she had finished. She always made sure she was home at 6:30 to watch Wheel of Fortune. Lois truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Clinton; sister, Betty Sigman and husband, Jim of Cabool, MO; six daughters, Wanda Mitchell and husband, Kenneth of Richardson, TX, Carolyn Smotherman and husband, Wayne of Mountain View, MO, Linda Wood and husband, David of Birch Tree, MO, Donna Roush and husband, Rick of Ozark, MO, Kim Pulliam and husband, Johnny Ray of Birch Tree, MO, and Jackie McKinzie and husband, Lynn of Mountain View, MO; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren that she was extremely proud of.
Lois will truly be missed by many friends and family.
