Lonnie Charles Ellison passed away on May 22, 2024, at about 3:30 p.m. at Kabul Nursing Home in Cabool Missouri. He was born June 26, 1938, in Board Camp, Arkansas to Haskell and Georgia (Luttrell) Ellison.

Ellison was a father, mentor, hero, and legend to his family. He left the Navy in 1958 and began a Law Enforcement Career with Maricopa County Sheriff's Office in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked in Law Enforcement for over 30 years before retiring in his home state of Arkansas.

Ellison was born and raised in Board Camp Arkansas prior to going into the Navy. His wife Marilyn Kay Ellison joined him with our Heavenly Father on May 27, 2024. Both are survived by their daughter, Gaye Lynne Ellison; son Wes Ellison; along with four grandsons; and several great-grandchildren.
