Lonnie Butler Grogan was born on July 28, 1940, to Grippie and Mary (Lee) Grogan, in Hattie, Missouri. He departed this life on March 10, 2021, at Mountain View Health Care, Mountain View, Missouri, at the age of 80.

He is survived by his children, Lonnie Wayne Grogan and wife Lisa of Gamaliel, AR, Donna Talbert and husband Garry of Memphis, MO; brother, Richard Grogan and wife Joyce of Mountain View, MO; sister, Vina Honeycutt of Hutton Valley, MO; one sister-in-law, Janice Grogan of Summersville, MO; numerous grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Lonnie is preceded in death by his parents, Grippie and Mary Grogan; and one brother, Forrest Grogan.

In Lonnie's later years he came to love the Lord. He was a wonderful brother, who always had a big hug ready for you and loved to play his guitar.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mountain View, Missouri with Pastor Bill Miller officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri.
