Marilyn Lee
Castellano
Oct 1, 1949 — Aug 2, 2023
Marilyn Sue Castellano was born on October 1, 1949, to Herbert and Ilabelle (Anthony) Lambert in California. She went to her Heavenly home on August 2, 2023, in Winona, Missouri.
She was united in marriage to Ed Keller and to this union, one son, Evan, was born. Later she married the love of her life, Joe Castellano, on August 28, 1999.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Castellano; her parents, Herbert and Ilabelle Lambert; her sister Phyllis Lambert; and her daughter-in-law Gina Keller.
She is survived by her brother, Steve Lambert and wife; daughter, Bridget Kalman; son, Evan Keller Sr; bonus son, Billy Coen; granddaughter, Makalie Kalman; grandsons, Tanner Kalman and Evan Keller Jr; and a host of kids that called her grandma Marilyn, especially Jacob Bay.
Marilyn spent a large portion of her life in California, where she worked for the state department. She lived in Pennsylvania with Joe for a short time before they moved to Winona, Missouri, where the city girl discovered she absolutely loved small-town country living. While here, Marilyn did her favorite job ever, babysitting. She made sure to spoil as many kids as she could. Marilyn had a loving heart and a big personality. She made everyone feel welcome and loved. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Marilyn never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone and everyone. She loved God and was baptized again on January 15, 2023, to reaffirm her commitment to Christ. As much as we will miss her here, we know that she is happy to finally be reunited with Joe. She has missed him so much since he passed, and we know they are up in Heaven, happily together again.
No services are planned. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
