Mary Louise King was born January 3, 1941, in Stillman Valley, Illinois, to John and Tina (Mowers) Brass. She departed this life on June 10, 2023, at her home in Winona, Missouri.

Mary was united in marriage to Thomas Earl King on June 23, 1962. She worked as an insurance claims adjuster.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband of the home, Thomas; and three brothers, Wilber Brass, Wayne Brass, and Darrell Brass.

Mary loved planting flowers and watching them grow.  She enjoyed taking care of her cat and loved to travel when she was able.

She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 16, 2023, at Oak Forest Cemetery, Birch Tree, Missouri, with Pastor Adam Gordon officiating.  Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
