Mary Louise Pruitt, age 61, passed away on January 28, 2022, at her home in Mountain View, Missouri. She was born to Dale and Myrtle (Quick) Martin, on September 23, 1960, in Birch Tree, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, David Gene Pruitt; grandparents, Lee and Mable Quick, Joe and Myrtle Martin; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Survivors include her parents, Dale and Myrtle Martin of Birch Tree, MO; two children, Myrtle Pruitt and Jimmy Pruitt and wife, Lisa, all of Birch Tree; two sisters, Sherry McClain and husband, Mike of Cleveland, TX, and Karen Adkins and husband, Michael of Strafford, MO; niece Crystal Autrey and husband, James, Kalla Simpson and husband, Charles Kaut, Mikey McClain and wife, Tori, Cody Adkins, and Michael Adkins, Jr; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Mary loved her family and generally loved people. She loved to visit and catch up, and loved God and reading her Bible. Mary was always ready to go to church when she could, and she would come by anytime and visit anyone. She loved to go!  She enjoyed going to the river, bowling, bingo, would hit the dirt track races, singing all the way, and was always ready for a road trip.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Vic Elliott officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Turkey Oak Cemetery, Montier, Missouri. Condolences may be made at www.yarbermortuary.com.
