Melvina "Molly" Gertie Abbey, age 75, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Friday, April 8, 2022, at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas. She was born to Clyde Walker and Mable (Black) McClellan on July 26, 1946, in Pittsburg, California.   Molly was united in marriage to Larry Don Abbey on August 1, 1964, at Lost Camp Church, Pomona, Missouri, and to this union three children were born, Kala, Kevin, and Kim.

Molly is preceded in death by, her father, Clyde Walker; mother, Mable McClellan; Step-father, Forest McClellan and one brother, Lester Walker.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Larry Don Abbey; two daughters, Kala Churchwell and husband David, Tulsa, OK, and Kim Evans and husband Ty, Milford, TX; one son, Kevin Abbey and wife Jill, Santa Anna, CA; two brothers, Clay McClellan and wife Tammy, Mountain View, MO and Bruce McClellan and wife Sue, Cabool, MO; ten grandchildren, Clare and Emma Churchwell, Eric, Morgan, Abigail, Chloe and Easton Evans, Madeline, Maizy and Weston Abbey; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Molly loved camping in the RV. After Larry's retirement, they traveled to Santa Fe, the Grand Canyon, South Dakota, Florida, Arkansas, and Mississippi. Molly and Larry spent the last seven years in South Texas during the winters. Molly loved doing numerous crafts.  Molly was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, April 15, 2022, at Willow Springs City Cemetery, Willow Springs, Missouri under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Willow Springs.  Prior to service, a time of visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home chapel for those wishing to pay their respects.  Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com .
