Mildred Lucille West was born on May 6, 1927, to James Lincoln and Myrtle (Bowen) McAfee in Van Buren, Missouri. She departed this life on March 6, 2021, at Willow Care Nursing Home in Willow Springs, Missouri at the age of 93.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Myrtle McAfee; husband, Nobel Nesbit; two brothers, Michael Roy McAfee, Wilbur McAfee; and sisters, Pauline Bell, Freda Grandstaff, Evelyn Atkins, Helen Norris, and Emmalou Redman.

Mildred is survived by her son, Charles Roy Snider and wife Melba; daughters, Judy Brandon and husband Bruce, Janis Kerr and husband Jess; brothers, Linn McAfee; grandchildren, Michael Ragain, Shana Colbert, Sara Wald, Rodney Kerr, Tracie Turner, Sharlene Higley, Christy Rinear; eleven great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was a Christian woman who loved her family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Winona, Missouri with Minister Judy Brandon officiating, under the direction of Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
