Norma Anna Lee (Phipps) Gentry, 86, of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away October 17, 2022, at Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri.   She was born in Mountain View, Missouri, on October 11, 1936, to Robert Everett and Clyda Jewell (Williams) Phipps.  She was united in marriage to Donald Larry Gentry on June 8, 1963, in Saint Louis, Missouri.

Ann is survived by her son, Robert E. Greenan (Elaine), of Mountain View, MO; siblings, Irene (Dot) Ross, of St. Louis, MO, Linda Kaut, Mountain View, MO, Ralph Phipps, Hillsboro, MO, Billy Gene Phipps, Jerry Lynn Phipps, and Larry Glenn "Butch" Phipps, all of Mtn. View, MO; also surviving are her grandchildren, R. Michael Greenan (Andrea) of Mountain View; great-grandchildren, Karter and Ava Greenan; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Larry Gentry; her parents, Robert & Clyda Phipps; and siblings, Bobby Joe Phipps and Glenda Sue Brooks.

Ann was the owner and operator of Ann's Hair Nook in Mountain View.  She retired as a bus driver for Fox Schools in Arnold, Missouri.   After retirement, Ann and Don moved back to Mountain View, their hometown, where they enjoyed their family and friends.
