Patrick Arthur Cummings was born May 26, 1947, in Osceola, Missouri to Ralph and Rose (Webb) Cummings. He departed this life on April 21, 2023, at his residence in Summersville, Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Rose Cummings; one grandchild; and son-in-law, Chris Brown.

Survivors include his children, Teresa Cummings of Mountain View, MO, Ronnette Brown of Ozark, MO, Annette Cummings of Amazonia, MO, and Larry Cummings of Cole Camp, MO; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Patrick proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like gardening or being down at the river watching the water flow by. He was ornery and mischievous with a quirky sense of humor. Although he didn't get out much, he was always ready to have Chinese food or fried fish and was a great company to have around. He will be remembered for his generosity and compassion and will be greatly missed.
