Pauline Ellen (Christy) Reese was born on October 27, 1940, in Fremont, Missouri. The daughter of Thomas Edward Christy and Sarah Francis (Martin) Christy. She passed away peacefully on September 6, 2022, at her son's home in Ferguson, Missouri, at the age of 81 years.

She was united in marriage to Bobby E. Reese on January 27, 1959, in Montier, Missouri, and to this union, three sons were born.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and four sisters.

She is survived by her three sons, Eugene R. Reese of Winnie, Tx, David W. Reese of Mountain View, Mo, and Stephen L. Reese (Sheila) of Ferguson, Mo; one granddaughter, Stephanie N. Anderson (Marcus) of Ferguson, Mo; one great-grandson, Nathaniel Reese Anderson of Ferguson, Mo; as well as one sibling Irvan Dale Christy (Tina) of Grand Junction, Co.

Pauline worked for Angelica Clothing factory in Mountain View, Missouri for several years and for Reese Excavating.

She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy. She will be greatly missed.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Rev. Billy Jones officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 6-7:00 p.m., also at the funeral home.  Interment will be at a later date in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Mountain View.
