Ralph Edwin Story, age 97, passed away on February 10, 2022, at his home in Archie, Missouri. He was born to Fred Edwin and Dorothy Ann (Allen) Story in Howell County, Missouri on May 30, 1924.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Dorothy Story; one brother, Junior Walter Story; two sisters, Gertrude "Toots" Wallace, and Maxine Ellett; two sons, Larry Gene Story, and Danny Lee Story; and one daughter, Linda Diana Felton.

Survivors include one son, Ralph Eugene Story of Los Angeles, CA; two daughters, Joyce Gorbett and husband, Tom of Lathrop, MO, and Tammy Jena Clark of St. Joseph, MO; seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral service with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Pastor Robert Medley officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2:00 p.m., also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Old City Cemetery, Mountain View, Missouri.
