Ramon "Ray" Lee Nelson, age 78, passed away on February 14, 2022, at Select Specialty Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was born to Ramon and Velma Nelson on April 26, 1943, in Earlimart, California

Ray married Carla Nelson on January 20, 2005, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Velma Nelson.

Survivors include his wife of seventeen years, Carla Nelson; two step-children, Jerry R. Murphy and Kellee Murphy; and three grandchildren, Megan Murphy, Billy Letterman, and Natasha Letterman.

Ray loved God and was of the Baptist faith. He also was a member of the Elks and a Mason. He loved his family with all his heart and would do anything for them. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
