Randy Lee Best was born February 4, 1955, in Mountain View, Missouri, to Franklin Lee and Opal Marie (Harmon) Best. He departed this life on February 16, 2023, at his home in Winona, Missouri, at the age of 68.

Randy obtained his GED and worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He was joined in marriage to Mary Caraker, and to this union one daughter, Christy, was born.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Franklin and Opal, and his grandparents, Herbert and Opal Harmon.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Mary; daughter, Christy Boyer; grandchildren, Randy Dale (Ashley Boyer), Ryan Sterling Boyer, James Evan Boyer, and David Lee Boyer; great-grandchildren, Randy Dale Boyer, Jr., Joseph Lee Boyer, Ashton Thomas Boyer, and Ryder Hayes Boyer.

Randy was a loving man who loved to build race cars and drive his big truck. Most of all, he loved spending time with his wife, daughter, and grandsons. The family was always his top priority.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20, 2023, at Yarber Mortuary, Winona, Missouri. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-3:00 p.m. also at the funeral home.
