Rhonda Louise (Ledgerwood) Shepherd made her journey home on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri at the age of 63. She was born on February 24, 1958, to Virgil Lewis and Patricia Ann (Shepherd) Ledgerwood in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

She was married to Steven Smith, and to this union, one daughter was born, Rebecca Jo "Becky Jo". She then married Shaun Smith, and to this union daughter, Sha Shauna Louise was born.

Rhonda was later joined in marriage to Michael Anthony Shepherd on December 11, 2004, and this union was made complete with the addition of daughters, Talon Breeann and Falcon Dawn.

She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandma. She spent her later years enjoying life with her husband, Mike, children, and grandchildren. Rhonda enjoyed her cats, Cuddles, Snuggles, and Sunny.  She loved watching the wildlife and enjoyed watching her beloved St. Louis Cardinals.

Rhonda is survived by her husband of seventeen years, Mike; daughters, Becky Jo (Jeremy) Long of West Plains, MO, Sha Shauna (Joshua) Jones of Tallahassee, Florida, Falcon Shepherd and Talon Binkley of Jesup, Georgia; ten grandchildren, Thomas Jeremy, Summer, JJ, Kamden, Aubreigh, Brayden, Emma, Nataleigh, Brody, and Maycee; sister, Beverly (Donnie) Craig of Birch Tree, MO; brother, Virgil "Scott" (Cheryl) Ledgerwood of Williamstown, New Jersey; and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daddy, Virgil "Tooter" Ledgerwood, and momma, Patricia "Patsy" Ledgerwood; baby brother, Mikie; grandparents; and in-laws.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Yarber Mortuary Birch Tree, Missouri, with Pastor Jeff Brake officiating.
