Rodney Allen
Alcorn
Jul 14, 1978 — May 16, 2026
Rodney Allen Alcorn was born on July 14, 1978, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, to Donna Alcorn. When Rodney was six years old, Donna met Larry Nitch, whom Rodney affectionately called Dad. Rodney departed this life on May 16, 2026, due to injuries sustained in a semi accident.
On September 19, 1997, Rodney married Kelly Allen, and to this union three sons were born: Andrew Logan, Zachary Allen, and Nicholas Lee.
He was a hardworking, do-anything-for-anyone type of guy. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, woodworking, grilling, and telling jokes, especially dad jokes. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. His grandbabies were the light of his life, and his favorite thing to do with them was napping and teaching them inappropriate things.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Kelly; three sons, Andrew and wife, Cheyenne of Mountain View, MO, Zachary and wife, Litzy of Mountain Grove, MO, Nicholas and wife, Jocelyn of Mountain Grove, MO, and one extra son, Devin Wallander of Raymondville, MO; three grandchildren, Owen, Rayleigh, and Remington; one brother, Joshua Nitch of Conroe, TX; his mother, Donna Nitch of Chickasha, OK; his father-in-law, Raymond Allen, of Mountain View, MO; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chuck Allen and wife, Charity of Lebanon, MO, Raymond Allen and wife, Jaime of Mountain Grove, MO, Travis Allen and wife, Ashley of Mountain View, MO; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Heather Rodgers; mother-in-law, Bonita Allen; and father, Larry Nitch.
In memory of Rodney, the family has requested that anyone attending the service wear the color blue.
