Ronald Keith Bohannon, 62 of Mountain View, Missouri, passed away peacefully from this life into the arms of Jesus on December 24, 2023. He was born May 25, 1961, in Gary, Indiana, the son of Joyce (Kost) Bohannon Montrosse and Ronald F. Bohannon.

Ronald ("Ronnie" also known as "Buddy Boy") lived with his mother for 61 years before entering Mountain View Healthcare.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald F. Bohannon, and step-dad, James E. Miller.

Ronnie is survived by his mother, Joyce Montrosse Miller of Mountain View, MO; two sisters, Toni Bohannon of Lowell, IN, and Carla (Steve) Robbins of Brighton, TN; four step-sisters, Carol (Doug) Denning of Winona, MO, Donna Gilliam of Peace Valley, MO, Tambra (Steve) Honeycutt of West Plains, MO, and Sheila (Bob) Moore of Lebanon, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ronnie attended church at Shepherds Table in Mountain View, Missouri. He loved singing and  to fellowship with his church family. He enjoyed playing his guitar and writing songs to Jesus.

He loved dancing, bowling, basketball and track.  He was involved with Special Olympics for many years, but more than anything he loved the Chicago Cubs.

Ronnie was a hard worker at the Sheltered Workshop in West Plains, Missouri, for several years, until one day he decided he wanted to retire and stay home with his mom and step-dad.

Our Buddy Boy will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 29, 2023, at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Bro. Bill Miller officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 6-8:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Mountain View.
